Yeatesville

YEATESVILLE - Beaufort County community named after Jesse J. Yeates, a Confederate Officer during the Civil War, who later served in the United States Congress from 1875 to 1879 and briefly in 1881.  That same year, Yeatesville was incorporated, but has long since disbanded.
