Engelhard

ENGELHARD - Former incorporated town in Hyde County from 1874 to 1967.  The community is named after Joseph A. Engelhard, publisher of the Wilmington Daily Journal from 1861 to 1870.  Engelhard was formerly known as Far Creek.
